If you’ve followed us for a while you know that we team up a lot of times with the Tasty Bunz truck and when I say a lot I mean “a lot”. Like this week we are with them 5 days in a row for a total of 20+ hours together. Although we have love for all the other food trucks out there, we just seem to really get along with the whole Tasty Bunz crew. We’ve spent hours talking about the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse (our favorite subject), probably the same amount of time talking about new food and drink creations, and continually bouncing business ideas for new events or stops off each other. Of course some might say that’s all BS especially since EJ is a freaking genius behind the grill and is always feeding us something new and that is why we like teaming with them. If that was true, could you blame us? Like this week alone he whipped up his version of steak and eggs, which was tocino meat and grilled onions over french fries covered with a over easy egg, just because we we’re talking about the steak and eggs special at the Hard Rock. And today he had a crispy scallop slider with green onions and a spicy tarragon aioli, that was just amazing. And I shouldn’t even mention how many times they have filled a to go box to the brim with buns for us to take home and stuff ourselves with. In return of course we supply them with all the coffee, smoothies, or whatever is on the Grouch-mobile that they want. In the end though we are totally taking advantage of this relationship, but I don’t think they know that yet, so keep it to yourselves. 🙂
