Peggy’s Attic is our favorite local charity.
It’s not the sexiest organization, or the most innovative.
Located in a lonely portable in the back parking lot of Clark County’s Family Courts, Peggy’s Attic does not have a huge endowment or heavyweight corporate support.
It is staffed by dedicated volunteers focused on the least fortunate children in our community: foster kids and children who have been taken into the custody of the county.
Everything we give them — every toy, every jacket, every dollar — goes straight to a kid who needs it.
Confidentiality rules, modesty, and common decency prevent us from taking pictures of the people in this building, but trust us: important work gets done in here.
And we’re glad to help.
Stay tuned for our next donation drive, or, if you’d like to take some initiative, Peggy’s Attic is always receptive to whatever you can spare.
Stay caffeinated, friends!
